The Amazon Firestick is the world's most popular streaming device, and for good reason. It's cheap, powerful, and Android-based. However, the default app store is limited. To get Smart4k IPTV running, you need to sideload our dedicated app or a premium player. Don't worry, "sideloading" sounds technical, but it's incredibly easy.
Prerequisites
- An Amazon Firestick (Lite, 4K, or 4K Max) or Fire TV Cube.
- An active internet connection.
- A Smart4k Subscription (for your username/password).
Prepare Your Firestick
By default, Amazon prevents you from installing apps from unknown sources. We need to turn this off.
- Go to your Firestick Settings (Gear icon).
- Select My Fire TV.
- Select Developer Options. (Note: If you don't see this, click "About" and click your Firestick name 7 times fast to reveal it).
- Turn ON Apps from Unknown Sources.
Get the "Downloader" App
This is the bridge that allows us to download the Smart4k app.
- Go back to the Firestick Home Screen.
- Click Find (Magnifying glass).
- Type "Downloader".
- Click the orange icon app labeled "Downloader".
- Download and Install it. Open it.
Download Smart4k App
Now we will download our premium application.
- In the Downloader app URL bar, type our short code: 78522 (Example code) or
type
https://4ksmartiptv.us/app.apk. - Click Go.
- The file will begin downloading. It's about 80MB.
- When finished, a prompt will appear. Click Install.
- Once installed, click Done (Delete the APK file to save space).
Login and Configure
You're almost there.
- Go to your Apps list and find the Smart4k XC app.
- Open it.
- Select "Xtream Codes API".
- Enter the details from your welcome email:
- Name: Smart4k (or anything you want)
- Username: (From email)
- Password: (From email)
- URL: http://line.smart4k.co (or the one provided in email)
- Click Add User.
Alternative: Using TiviMate (Advanced)
If you prefer using TiviMate, which is widely considered the best IPTV player interface:
1. Install TiviMate via Downloader (Code: 191081).
2. Open TiviMate -> Add Playlist -> Xtream Codes.
3. Enter your Smart4k server URL, username, and password.
4. Wait for it to process the playlist (might take 1-2 minutes to load 20,000 channels).
